I completed my undergraduate education with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Texas Tech University. I also minored in chemistry, math, and bioengineering. As a tutor, I can provide students with instruction in elementary and middle school math, algebra, geometry, arithmetic, precalculus, trigonometry, and calculus. Through my educational background, I also have experience with science courses, such as chemistry, chemical engineering, biomolecular engineering, and physics. I can work with all types of students, including those in special education. I also focus on test prep for standardized exams like the SAT, ACT, ASPIRE, and CAHSEE. Being a mentor and providing guidance are important to me, and I find that aspect of the tutor-student relationship to be very rewarding. I'm excited to help students discover their love of learning and achieve academic success. Currently, I have returned to my hometown of Austin to spend time with friends and family. Some hobbies I enjoy are backpacking, dancing, swimming, and hiking.
